"In the late 40's and early 50's the two Carter brothers designed a universal wood luggage rack. The CarPac rack had a patented floating foot system that distributed the load weight evenly so as not to damage the car's roof. These racks were put on the top of station wagons and used by TV and movie crews to get above a crowd as in a parade, news events, auto races, etc. They were also very popular for the family camping trip or vacation.

We are Proud to carry
